Choco-Chip Cake

Chocolate is every time favorite of everyone. Anything and everything goes well if its made of chocolate. Treat your birthday as cheat day as Life is too short to say no to Chocolates. Recipe For Baking Eggless Choco-Chip Cake:

This eggless choco-chip cake should be baked at 180degree celcius in oven for 30 minutes.

It might take lesser time to bake, so keep an eye!

  • Base of the cake is eggless chocolate cake. It turned out so light, fluffy, and laden with chocolate chips.I have used yogurt instead of eggs as yogurt adds moisture to the cake and make it fluffy and soft.

For Chocolate Sponge:

1 cup Yogurt

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

3/4 cup Sugar

½ cup Vegetable oil

1 tsp Chocolate essence

½ cup Chocolate chips

For  Chocolate Ganache:

1 Cup Dark Chocolate (chopped)

1 tbsp Butter

Get your glass bowl filled with Dark Chocolate (crushed into small pieces) and melt it in either microwave or double boiler. Keep a close eye.

Method:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients and sieve as thi swill make your cake lighter.
  3. Mix all the wet ingredients and start mixing dry ingredients slowly.
  4. Don’t overmix the batter.
  5. Grease the pan generously with oil.
  6. Line the bottom with parchment paper.
  7. I have taken 5 inch pan to bake this cake.
  8. Bake until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. One can easily bake this cake in cooker or in microwave on convection mode.
  10. Pour the glaze on the top of cake . Decorate with chocolate flower using flower nozzle.
  11. Add some Choco-chip to decorate.
